Hyper/Secondary Components

Burckhardt Compression is well known for continuous development in order to optimize and improve the design. Key components are engineered and manufactured in-house with state-of-the-art methods for highest reliability and availability.
 
The following list shows some examples where old/existing parts of Burckhardt Compression Hyper compressors have been modified and improved.
 

Crankgear

  • Modification of connecting rod bearing shell
  • Optimized elastic rod coupling
  • Modified plunger coupling
  • Substitution of Amot Systems (Bearing temperature)
  • Modification of frame covers
  • Equipped with different sensors for monitoring system

Cylinder parts

  • Plungers - new plated (first stage)
  • Sealing elements - improved material and design
  • Pressure breakers - optimized design
  • VA (vinyl acetat) related modifications
  • Low-pressure sealing design - modified to fulfill environmental restrictions
  • Central valve - new design to minimize fretting effects
  • Lube oil pump (Type CH1)

Monitoring

  • Monitoring and interpretation of the measurements
