Four Process Gas Compressors for Refinery Upgrade in Russia
Burckhardt Compression has received a follow-up order for four dry-running Process Gas Compressors to be delivered to the Syzran refinery in Russia.
Burckhardt Compression recorded an order from OJSC Syzran Refinery, a subsidiary of OJSC Rosneft Oil Company in Russia, to deliver four Process Gas Compressors for their refinery upgrade project. The responsible contractor for this project is PMP Ltd from St. Petersburg, Russia. The compressors will be used for the new isomerization unit.
The contract contains two hydrogen make-up Process Gas Compressors and two hydrogen recycle Process Gas Compressors. This specific process requires knowledge in the dry-running technology and experience for the operating conditions as well as reliability and high availability for the equipment offered. The compressors will be skid-mounted by Burckhardt Compression.
The company’s Process Gas Compressors that are well known in the market are manufactured according to API 618 5th edition and the latest state-of-the-art technology. Burckhardt Compression is GOST-R and Rostechnadzor certified which was important to secure this order.
Delivery of the Process Gas Compressors will take place in the first quarter 2010. The compressors are scheduled to be in operation by mid-2010.
Burckhardt Compression has already received an order from the Syzran refinery in 2007 for the delivery of two dry-running hydrogen Process Gas Compressors.
