We offer two different options for the Social Event. As the Social Event is optional, please remember to choose the option during your registration.

Option 1 – Terracotta Army

During this social event we will be visiting the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor which is mainly famous for the Terracotta Army. The UNESCO world heritage site holds more than 8’000 figures and is a must for all visiting Xi’an for the first time. After our tour through the mausoleum, we will be having lunch at a restaurant completely designed by following the culture of the ancient Qin Dynasty.

Option 2 – Ancient Xi’an

The second option is all about the ancient city of Xi’an. Our first stop will be at the Big Wild Goose Pagode. This beautiful and well-preserved Buddhist building is one of the most important sites of the old city. Afterwards, we will take a walk on the city wall. With a length of almost 14 kilometers and a height of 12 meters, it is one of the largest ancient military defensive constructions in the world. For lunch, we will stop at a well-known Xi’an restaurant.
