Burckhardt Compression proposes Mariateresa Vacalli as additional member of the Board of Directors
Burckhardt Compression's Board of Directors will propose Maria Teresa Vacalli to the Board of Directors at the next Annual General Meeting on July 1, 2022. She is proposed as additional Board Member increasing the size of the Board of Directors from five to six.
Maria Teresa Vacalli is the CEO of Bank Cler until the beginning of May. Previously, she was Chief Digital Officer of Basler Kantonalbank. She is a graduate of the ETH, Electrical Engineering, with a Degree in Production and Operations Management. Maria Teresa Vacalli was Director Network Support and Development at Cablecom and Executive Director Wholesale operations at Sunrise Communications. She is an experienced Board Member and has strong financial skills. Her leadership experience, production and operations knowledge, innovation drive, as well as her data analytics and digital implementation skills make her a highly suitable person to join the Board of Directors of Burckhardt Compression.
Subject to her election at the Annual General Meeting, the Board of Directors has decided that she will join the audit committee of Burckhardt Compression, which will then increase from two to three members.
