Five-year long-term service agreement renewed across LNG fleet
Following the successful execution of an initial five-year long-term service agreement (LTSA), Burckhardt Compression secured a renewal with a leading global LNG carrier operator. The agreement covers a fleet of nine LNG carriers equipped with thirteen compressors as part of the fuel gas supply system and boil-off gas (BOG) management.
Building on proven results, the renewed contract includes the ongoing maintenance of the entire fleet of Laby®-GI Compressors, complemented by condition monitoring and comprehensive fleet management services. The customer’s decision to renew was driven by high compressor availability (>97%), reduced unplanned interventions and full cost transparency.
Our partnership with Burckhardt Compression has enabled us to operate our LNG fleet with high reliability and full cost transparency. The combination of proactive monitoring, expert support and a dedicated point of contact ensures predictable maintenance, minimized downtime and continuous optimization giving us confidence in both day-to-day operations and long-term planning.
