Burckhardt Compression: Executive Board enlarged
Burckhardt Compression has appointed 43-year-old Keven Li, currently the Managing Director of Burckhardt Compression (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., to its Executive Board as a new member. Keven Li assumes this position retroactively to April 1, 2013. As part of its organic growth strategy, Burckhardt Compression is further expanding its geographic presence and strengthening the subsidiaries. China is an important market for the company and will be even more important in the future.
Keven Li (43), Chinese national, is the current Managing Director of Burckhardt Compression (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. and has been appointed to the Executive Board as a new member retroactively to April 1, 2013. Mr. Li has managed the subsidiary and its two operating sites in Shanghai and Beijing since 2007. After completing his studies in machinery engineering he earned an EMBA and worked for many years at several multinational companies in the oil and gas industry as well as in the industrial gas area. With this appointment Burckhardt Compression is strengthening its global presence in fast growing markets of relevance to the company, in accordance with its medium-term strategic planning.
