    We are searching for Kuwait a

    Field Service Engineer/Technician

    Tasks:

    Demanding duties as overhauls of compressors and accessories as well as their maintenance
    Working outdoor and indoor
    Travel activity to approx. 30% in the middle east region and worldwide were required
    Furthermore, you like to work independently, but you are also able to work in a team
    You appreciate regular customer contact and you are tolerant towards other cultures and religions
    Advise customers of new developments, service requirements and techniques
    While on customer premises bring to the customer’s attention any deficiencies or potential hazards observed
    Maintain a good professional relationship with customers
    Ensure all service work is completed within the allocated time frame and meets with total customer satisfaction
    Provide a technical report of all service work in accordance with Burckhardt compression’s reporting standards for each assignment
    Provide technical assistance / advise to Burckhardt Compression’s agency
    Be receptive concerning new applications for the company’s products
    On request provide supervision to on site personnel in connection with repair, retrofit, upgrade, and complete rehabilitation work
    On request provide assistance to our repair center at our work shop facilities in Saudi Arabia and or Dubai
    The tasks are based on general practical guidelines and mutual instructions
    Follow-up tasks may be automatically detected and solved
    Reports to the After Sales Engineer Manager

    Skills:

    Good communication skills in English (written & oral)
    Confident, represent able and resourceful, robust and you love self responsibility
    A minimum of a High School Diploma and Mechanical trade / engineering diploma or degree
    Experience in supervising the installing, commissioning, repairing, servicing and troubleshooting of reciprocating compressors is an advantage
    Broad knowledge of mechanical engineering practices in general and reciprocating technology in particular
    Ability to work independently with little supervision and the ability to work under adverse conditions
    2-5 years’ experience in a similar role, within the Middle East will be an advantage
    A valid driving license
    Excellent MS Office proficiency such as MS Word, Excel, other are an advantage
